WHO? WHERE? WHEN?

WHO ARE WE?

We are a support group for both stroke survivors, people with Aphasia and caregivers, no matter what county you live in. We have been in existence for 20+ years, and our members are understanding and open to sharing support and experiences for the stroke survivor, family and caregivers. During our meetings we offer discussion, as well as invite speakers to update us on such topics as nutrition, humor, relaxation, stroke research, brain exercises, adaptive sports/travel, music and pet therapy. We do like to have fun ~ and have attended museums, dinner theatres, picnics , sporting events, and have game nights. As a group, we collectively have a holiday dinner around Thanksgiving/Christmas, and tend to have a simulated picnic (in our usual meeting spot) at times during the summer.

We are located at Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio in the meeting room on the first floor behind the reception desk.  The parking lot address is 32 Catherine Street, Dayton OH.  (The building is on the northwest corner of Apple St and Main  Street.)

We meet almost every 3rd Thursday of the month from (PLEASE NOTE NEW TIME) 6:30pm-8pm.
